What this service stores, what it sends elsewhere, and how to remove it.
Every factual statement here is drawn from what the software actually does, and the text has been reviewed. It is still a description of a service rather than legal advice.
Who is responsible for your data
Blue Elephants Solutions Pte. Ltd., 160 Robinson Road, #14-04 Singapore Federation Centre, Singapore 068914 (UEN 201932733R), operates this service and decides what is stored here. Write to contact@blue-elephants-solutions.com about anything on this page — a copy of your data, a correction, or deletion. The imprint has the full company details.
What is stored about you
Signing in with Google or Microsoft asks the provider for one thing: an opaque subject identifier. No name, no email address and no profile information is requested, received or stored. That identifier is then hashed before it is written down, so the stored value cannot be turned back into your account at the provider.
Signing in with the developer password creates no account record at all.
- A hashed sign-in identifier, and which provider it came from
- Your videos: the brief you wrote, the script or storyboard, the designed scenes, the recorded voice, the captions and the finished video file
- Any files you upload as source material or for a video’s branding
- For a how-to video, the website address you gave and the address of its sign-in page. A login you enter for that site is held encrypted only while a video is being made, then erased
- Build records — timing, stage, token counts and cost — for the videos you generate
- Your plan and credits: what is left this month, the credits each video was charged, and any credits our team added, with who added them and why
- For each video you share: how many times it was watched, how many viewers reached the end, and how far into the video they got — counts per day, never anything about who watched
- If you write to us through the contact form: your name, email address, organisation and message, stored encrypted and read only by our team to answer you. Ask, and we delete it
- When you are signed in and react to someone else’s video: your thumbs up or down, the videos you keep as favourites, and the creators you follow. Thumbs and star ratings from people who are not signed in are added to a total and kept nowhere else
- If a learning platform you use — your employer’s or your school’s, for example — sent you to a video signed in: how far into it you got, how long you watched and whether you finished, under the platform’s own id for you
Sign-in details for a website you record
A how-to video may need to sign in to the tool it shows. The username, password and company code you enter are encrypted before they are stored, are decrypted only inside the browser that explores and records the site, and are never sent to an AI provider: the storyboard refers to them as placeholders, and the real values are typed into the page by our own code.
We do not keep them. They are held only while a video is being made and are erased as soon as the last build of that video ends — whether it finished, failed or was stopped — and in any case a day after you entered them. Making the video again, or asking for a change in the chat, asks for them again. A copy of a video never carries them over. Use an account made for the recording where you can, rather than your own.
What leaves this service
Generating a video sends your brief, and any source material you upload, to the configured AI model provider. That is the whole point of the product and it cannot be switched off for a build, but it is worth being explicit about: material you would not send to a third party should not be uploaded here.
For a how-to video, the text of the pages the browser visits — headings, links, button labels and field names, never what is typed into a field — is also sent to that provider so it can plan the steps. Stills of the designed scenes are sent to it to be checked for visible defects.
The words the voice speaks are sent to our speech provider, ElevenLabs, which returns the recording. Only that text is sent: not your account and not your uploads.
If image generation is enabled by the operator, image descriptions written during a build are also sent to that provider.
When a learning platform that works with us sends one of its own people to a video, signed in, that platform is told when they start it and when they finish it: how far they got and how long they watched, under the id the platform gave them, and nothing else. A creator’s platform is told when they publish a video, so it can offer it to its learners. No other data is sent anywhere.
What is not done
Stated because these are the questions people actually have.
- No advertising, and no sale or sharing of data with advertisers
- No third-party analytics or tracking scripts on these pages
- No cookies beyond the sign-in session, the short-lived token that guards it, and two that only steer which language you see: the language you picked with the language switch, and a marker that you are signed in
- People watching a video you share are never identified, except to a learning platform that sent them there signed in (above). A view is counted when playback starts, and how far it got is counted in tenths of the video; the only thing held to connect the two is a random number that is forgotten after six hours. No cookie is set, and no IP address or anything else that could recognise a viewer is stored
The basis in law, and your rights
Where the GDPR applies, we rely on: performance of a contract (running your account and generating your videos); legitimate interests (keeping the service secure and working); and consent where we ask for it.
You can delete any video, and your whole account, from Settings. Write to contact@blue-elephants-solutions.com to exercise any other right available to you — a copy of your data, a correction, an objection to processing — or to complain to your local supervisory authority.
Removing your data
Deleting a video removes its record, its files and any stored sign-in details at the same time. Deleting your account in Settings removes every video you have made and the account record itself. Neither is recoverable, and no copy is retained — download first if you want one.
One exception, and it is a legal one: payment records and invoices are kept for ten years, as accounting rules require. They hold what was billed and to whom — not your videos, which go when you delete them.
